Senior Loss Control Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert Loss Control Services in alignment with company policies and procedures.

• Offer support services in the territory to assist in acquiring and maintaining profitable business.

• Assess and manage commercial risks of any size and complexity for workers' compensation coverage.

• Initiate and oversee all service account scheduling and activities for the designated territory.

• Achieve or surpass all service benchmarks.

• Facilitate risk enhancement by providing management consultation services and formulating recommendations for hazard control.

• Execute loss control services and training for clients to aid in loss reduction.

• Engage in team initiatives aimed at retaining accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10+ years of loss control experience with a major workers' compensation insurance writer is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation is essential, along with the capability to conduct training programs and classes for our clients.

• Fundamental understanding of underwriting and product management skills is necessary.

• Comprehensive knowledge of commercial lines of insurance coverage, engineering principles, loss control concepts, and safety standards and codes is required.

• Candidates possessing industry designations such as Associate in Risk Management, Certified Engineering Technician, Certified Safety Professional, or a degree in Engineering will be given strong consideration.

• A Master's degree in Safety and Health may substitute for one of the professional designations.

• Proficient use of computers and software programs is a requirement for this position.
