This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and source mortgage leads.
• Cultivate relationships with real estate agents and various lead sources.
• Assess potential loan markets and create referral networks to find prospects for loans.
• Promote CCM products to individuals and businesses, highlighting services that may align with customer needs.
• Meet with applicants to gather information for loan applications and address queries regarding the process.
• Evaluate applicants' financial situations, credit histories, and property assessments to determine the viability of loan approvals.
• Clarify to customers the various loan types and credit options available, along with the terms of these services.
• Generate comprehensive loan applications with the necessary documentation.
• Enhance loan applications and documentation by informing applicants of any additional requirements.
• Assist customers by responding to inquiries and fulfilling requests.
• Address customer complaints and take appropriate measures to resolve them.
• Manage communication with real estate agents or referral sources.
• Collaborate with processing and underwriting teams to help resolve mortgage application issues.
• Stay updated on job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities, reading industry publications, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Frequently engage in mortgage sales activities, including but not limited to attending closings, open houses, and conducting CCM seminars/trainings as well as other lead-generating initiatives.
• NMLS License Required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008.
• Knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, underwriting, procedures, documentation, and systems.
• Experience in proactively seeking new business opportunities.
• Familiarity with Encompass is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of all mortgage products and programs.
• Strong analytical skills to assess credit requests and identify trends in the marketplace.
• Advanced communication and collaboration capabilities.
• Proficiency in standard software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
