This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish relationships with families to assist them in caring for their aging loved ones by connecting them with Brookdale communities across the nation.
• Aid families in their search for senior living options or home-based support.
• Determine which communities or resources align best with each family's unique needs.
• Encourage prospects to visit Brookdale communities and arrange appointments.
• Maintain and update customer and prospective-customer databases while ensuring compliance with quality data standards.
• Cultivate leads through informative discussions and scheduled follow-up communications.
• Provide support to communities by making outbound calls and sending emails to update prospect information and organize follow-up activities.
• Collaborate closely with community sales and operations associates as an integral part of the sales team.
• Engage in interactive training, coaching, and activities aimed at fostering a positive departmental culture.
• Execute additional tasks as designated by the supervisor.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university is preferred.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in sales, pre-sales, inside sales, or appointment setting is preferred.
• Relevant experience in healthcare or call centers is favored.
• No specific certifications, licenses, or additional requirements are necessary.
• Knowledge of the aging process and the needs of older adults across all product lines is essential.
• Competence in operating personal computers and associated software is required.
• Ability to effectively manage time, tasks, and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to represent Brookdale as an organization prepared to address seniors’ needs.
• Skill in assessing customers’ expectations, needs, and situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective listening abilities.
• A self-motivated individual with organizational and time-management skills who can work independently.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, or nights if necessary for shift coverage.
• Capability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to interact effectively with coworkers, residents, and vendors.
