This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Manage intricate litigation cases independently from start to finish.
• Address complex commercial, construction, and government-related disputes in both state and federal jurisdictions.
• Formulate litigation strategies, draft dispositive motions, and create compelling legal arguments.
• Lead depositions, motion practices, evidentiary hearings, and preparation for trial.
• Act as second chair during trials, with the possibility of taking on first-chair responsibilities.
• Prepare and question witnesses while devising effective trial strategies.
• Establish trusted relationships with discerning clients, acting as their primary legal advisor throughout the litigation process.
• Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff, promoting a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Assist in business development efforts and pinpoint opportunities to enhance client relationships.
• Contribute significantly to the firm's ongoing growth and future leadership.
• Over 5 years of experience in sophisticated commercial litigation, construction litigation, or closely related fields.
• Capability to independently oversee complex litigation matters from inception to conclusion.
• Strong experience in motion practice, depositions, and courtroom settings.
• Required second-chair trial experience.
• Preferred first-chair trial experience.
• Proven experience representing sophisticated commercial, government, contractor, or institutional clients.
• Background with a nationally recognized or highly esteemed regional law firm.
• At least 3 years of experience at a Top 200 or similarly reputable law firm.
• Experience at the Senior Associate, Counsel, or Partner level.
• Excellent skills in legal writing, analysis, and client communication.
• Juris Doctor degree from a respected law school.
