Senior Litigation Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Oversee moderately complex civil litigation cases for American Family and our clients, adhering to established protocols and the highest ethical standards.

• Evaluate cases, devise strategies for the best possible outcomes, and seek settlements when suitable.

• Direct the discovery process, draft pleadings and briefs, and perform research to bolster your litigation strategy.

• Represent clients in trials, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement discussions.

• Advocate for our clients in both state and federal courts, administrative tribunals, and regulatory hearings.

• Stay informed on legal trends to ensure our policies remain robust and enforceable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering customer-focused solutions, support, or service.

• Proven experience in preparing civil pleadings, motions, and discovery, as well as deposing witnesses.

• Established litigation experience.

• Strong knowledge and comprehension of the rules of Professional Responsibility applicable to the jurisdiction in which they practice.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of tort, contract, and insurance law.

• Licensed to practice law in the Wisconsin State Bar.

• Juris Doctor degree.
