Senior Linux Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the deployment of security measures.

• Diagnose and resolve application issues.

• Develop silent installation packages for application distribution frameworks.

• Collaborate with ISSOs on accreditation documentation.

• Administer both physical and virtual workstations.

• Offer subject matter expert support for Tier 3 trouble tickets and engage in discussions with Air Force representatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing a technical refresh for a government network.

• Background in conducting RMF, or equivalent, Certification & Accreditation (C&A) / Authorization & Accreditation (A&A).

• Familiarity with software development processes.

• Experience in working with microservices.

• Knowledge of imaging technologies.

• Proficient in application deployment techniques and technologies.

• Experience in implementing SELinux in enforcement mode.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, business administration, management, or a related scientific or technical field.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant cumulative experience required.

• Must possess an active Secret security clearance.

• One or more of the following certifications: AWS/Azure Cloud Solutions Architect Professional, DoD 8570 Baseline Information Assurance Technical (IAT)-II level, ITIL Intermediate/Expert.
