Senior Linguist – Marketing, Life Sciences, Amharic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in translating and copyediting content within the specified subject matter areas or verticals: **Investigator facing, Patient facing and/or Pharmacy material, Marketing, Help and UI content**.

• A professional-level command of English (US/GB).

• Native-level proficiency in Amharic as the target language, with a solid understanding of cultural nuances.

• The candidate should be proficient in a variety of CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, Smartling, etc.

• Familiarity with MS Office applications, including MS Word and MS Excel.

• Preferred: A degree in translation or, if holding another degree, 3 years of translation experience, or if without a degree, 5 years of translation experience.
