β’ Serving as a vital extension of our clientsβ HR teams, we expertly navigate and advise on the complex landscape of global employment with unmatched speed and precision.
β’ The Senior Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations & Transitions takes on the independent management of all employee exits for Remote's external workforce, emphasizing legal compliance, high-quality service, and exceptional customer experience.
β’ This role also includes providing first-level Employee Relations support, helping clients address workplace issues and coordinating relevant resources.
β’ As a member of a broader employee Lifecycle team, the Senior Specialist is expected to spearhead process enhancements and initiatives that align with Remote's strategic objectives and core values.
β’ Demonstrated experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, possessing generalist HR skills and exposure throughout the employee lifecycle.
β’ Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law are considered advantageous.
β’ Proven track record in independently managing both voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with care, sensitivity, and compliance with legal standards, while providing comprehensive HR advice on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.
β’ A solid understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline methods, and the fundamentals of workplace investigations.
β’ Proficient in interpreting and applying industrial instruments, analyzing intricate HR issues, and utilizing problem-solving skills to independently reach solutions, conduct research, and translate findings into practical team resources while effectively communicating suggestions to clients and internal stakeholders in ambiguous and unfamiliar situations.
β’ Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation abilities, capable of leading challenging conversations to positive outcomes, often amidst conflicting interests, while representing Remote with authority and professionalism, and ensuring strict confidentiality.
β’ Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English, with additional language skills considered a plus.
β’ A strong inclination towards innovation and process optimization, continuously seeking out, developing, and implementing automation opportunities and advocating for best practices.
β’ Operational efficiency with a keen awareness of the significance of meticulous record-keeping and data integrity.
β’ Tech-savvy, able to collaborate asynchronously using various tools, and adapt to new and evolving systems.
β’ Capability to work independently and harmoniously within an international team in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment while effectively managing multiple competing priorities. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
β’ Proactive and self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, coupled with the ability to inspire others.
β’ Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities alongside AI fluency.
