This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Take ownership of and implement Human Resources processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
β’ Lead comprehensive recruitment efforts to achieve hiring objectives while ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.
β’ Collaborate with department leaders to offer guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and workplace matters.
β’ Evaluate HR metrics and trends to suggest process enhancements that aid business decisions.
β’ Create, sustain, and refine HR documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and employee resources to enhance consistency and efficiency.
β’ Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws while keeping precise HR records.
β’ Independently manage employee onboarding, offboarding, transfers, promotions, and organizational changes.
β’ Act as the primary contact for routine employee relations issues and escalate complex matters as necessary.
β’ Review HRIS data, personnel files, and compliance documents for accuracy and completeness.
β’ Organize annual HR initiatives, including performance evaluations, benefits communication, policy acknowledgments, and engagement surveys.
β’ Assist with leave administration, accommodations, workplace investigations, and compliance documentation.
β’ Oversee the HR inbox, ensuring prompt responses to employee inquiries.
β’ Work with hiring managers to recruit, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
β’ Accurately process employee status changes within the HRIS.
β’ Plan and coordinate initiatives for employee engagement, recognition, and organizational culture.
β’ Support Executive Leadership with strategic HR initiatives and special projects.
β’ Propose and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and the employee experience.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
β’ 3-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
β’ Experience in multiple HR disciplines, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and benefits administration.
β’ Experience in a multi-state environment is preferred.
β’ Proficient in using HRIS, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and reporting tools.
β’ Solid understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.
β’ SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.
