Senior Lifecycle Specialist, Employee Relations and Transitions - APAC

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee and address the complete employee exit process across various international jurisdictions, ensuring an exceptional offboarding experience for Remote's clients and their employees.

β€’ Provide expert advice and manage client inquiries on a range of HR topics, including but not limited to termination, resignation and transfer protocols, employment contracts, and redundancy procedures, while ensuring legal compliance and adherence to best practices.

β€’ Facilitate and lead meetings with clients and external employees, including but not limited to workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, negotiations regarding separations and settlements, providing guidance on terminations, and delivering termination outcomes.

β€’ Negotiate and influence successful outcomes in complex terminations, balancing the interests of multiple stakeholders.

β€’ Collaborate with various internal and external partners to ensure compliance in offboarding activities and audits, including but not limited to payroll, legal advisors, government entities, and trade unions.

β€’ Accurately draft, customize, and manage all termination and supplementary documentation, ensuring employee records are maintained in strict accordance with privacy and confidentiality regulations.

β€’ Execute offboarding processes on Remote's internal HRIS system, working closely with various internal teams, such as Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance, to guarantee all aspects of the employee exit are handled properly and promptly.

β€’ Serve as the subject-matter expert, responding to internal and external inquiries regarding all offboarding-related issues in collaboration with Lifecycle's internal stakeholders.

β€’ Guide clients through Remote's Employee Relations resources and materials, assisting them in understanding relevant policies and procedures.

β€’ Conduct initial assessments of workplace issues, pinpointing key facts and relevant local regulations.

β€’ Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper management of employee relations matters.

β€’ Aid clients in comprehending progressive disciplinary methods and documentation necessities.

β€’ Track ongoing employee relations cases, ensuring timely follow-up and collaboration with appropriate stakeholders.

β€’ Identify and contribute to opportunities for process enhancements, automation, product development, and overall improvements in customer and employee experience through offboarding and employee relations processes.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, possessing generalist HR knowledge and exposure throughout the employee lifecycle.

β€’ Demonstrated experience with a solid background in carefully managing voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) while ensuring legal compliance; providing thorough HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions.

β€’ Proficient in interpreting and applying industrial instruments, analyzing complex HR challenges, conducting research, providing practical solutions, and effectively communicating recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders in ambiguous and unfamiliar situations.

β€’ Basic understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline strategies, and workplace investigation basics.

β€’ Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities, with the competence to lead challenging conversations towards positive resolutions, often amidst conflicting interests, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

β€’ Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English, with proficiency in additional languages considered advantageous.

β€’ Willingness to innovate and enhance processes, with a continuous focus on identifying and implementing automation opportunities and promoting best practices.

β€’ Efficient operational skills, with an understanding of the significance of meticulous record-keeping and data integrity.

β€’ Tech-savvy, capable of collaborating asynchronously on diverse tools, and adapting to new and evolving systems.

β€’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international team in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment with multiple priorities. Flexibility to work varied hours as necessary.

β€’ Self-driven and motivated, exhibiting a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

β€’ Displays strong automation and AI capabilities and fluency in AI concepts.
