Senior Legal Counsel – Corporate Counsel, SaaS & M&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Legal Counsel / Corporate Counsel (m/f/d), you will be central to our internal operations.

• You will serve as the legal support for our clients, functioning as their in-house legal team while providing the flexibility and expertise typical of an external service provider.

• Your responsibilities will span two dimensions: supporting our clients and collaborating within our organization.

• You will assist in the development and maintenance of our internal legal processes, standard agreements, knowledge bases, and templates.

• You will play a key role in shaping our service architecture, including the onboarding, management, and scaling of engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of the first state law exam (Erstes juristisches Staatsexamen) or an equivalent qualification (e.g., Master in Business Law) with above-average grades.

• A minimum of 3–6 years of professional experience, preferably within a legal department or in-house setting.

• Proficiency in contract law, data protection, and compliance; familiarity with employment law and corporate law is advantageous.

• A strong interest in process optimization, tools, and automation.

• Capability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and possess excellent communication skills.

• Proficient in German (C2) and fluent in English.
