Senior Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead intricate commercial negotiations, including master service agreements with enterprise customers.

• Oversee inbound agreements with data providers.

• Collaborate with Go-To-Market (GTM), Deal Desk, Partnerships, Security, Product, and Compliance teams.

• Lead or assist in broader legal workstreams.

• Provide guidance on privacy and data protection issues.

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Security, and GTM teams.

• Utilize and contribute to the development of AI tools and legal technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of legal experience, with significant in-house experience at a technology, SaaS, data, or other rapidly growing B2B company.

• Extensive experience in commercial contracting and technology transactions.

• Broad knowledge of legal issues frequently encountered in a scaling tech environment.

• Ability to function as a senior resource within a lean team structure.

• Exceptional legal judgment and communication abilities.

• Practical understanding of AI and legal technology.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; currently active member in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
