Senior Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across various departments to finalize agreements and meet the commercial goals of the Cyber Security SMB/C Division.

• Prepare, review, and negotiate agreements related to licenses, SaaS subscriptions, master and professional services, distribution, reseller, OEM, and privacy.

• Propel the strategic initiatives of the legal team.

• Create and execute processes that enhance the speed of contracting while minimizing risk.

• Offer practical advice to Sales and Procurement teams, balancing business goals with legal risks.

• Stay updated on evolving regulations, laws, and industry standards.

• Report directly to the Associate General Counsel (Director, Legal Counsel) for the Cyber Security SMBC Division.

• Operate independently and communicate remotely with team members across the globe.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in commercial contracting, ideally in an in-house environment.

• Familiarity with SaaS subscription agreements, software licenses, master and professional services agreements, distribution and reseller agreements, OEM agreements, and data processing agreements.

• Proven record of sound judgment and decision-making in a legal capacity with significant responsibility.

• Active membership in good standing with at least one state bar.

• Capability to work independently and drive high-impact projects to completion.

• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with non-legal colleagues, external partners, and clients.

• Good business acumen with the ability to balance business objectives and legal risks.

• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, global corporate environment.

• Willingness and capability to work independently and communicate virtually with team members.
