Head Counsel, Regulatory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of attorneys managing intricate legal issues associated with digitally-native healthcare delivery, pharmacy operations and fulfillment, laboratory operations, as well as technology and healthcare innovations, including AI and products regulated by the FDA.

• Counsel executives and senior leadership on various legal issues.

• Deliver solution-focused legal guidance.

• Identify risks and formulate legal strategies that support the company's global expansion.

• Assist in leading the Regulatory legal department.

• Build, guide, and mentor legal teams.

• Act as a vital legal and business collaborator.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of experience practicing law in both a law firm and in-house settings.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in advising on the healthcare regulatory framework.

• Familiarity with digital healthcare delivery, clinical practice, corporate practice of medicine, pharmacy operations and fulfillment, laboratory services, as well as state-based Stark/Anti-Kickback laws and federal regulatory standards.

• Proven management experience with a strong history of developing, leading, and mentoring teams.

• Capability to function as a trusted business partner and make risk-informed decisions in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

• Admission to the bar in at least one state.

• Eligibility to practice in-house in the state of residence.

• Experience in telehealth and health technology, along with knowledge of pharmacy law and regulations is preferred.
