Senior Legal Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate various commercial agreements, such as customer sales contracts, channel partner agreements, procurement contracts, and technology licensing deals.

• Provide guidance to business teams regarding EU and member-state regulatory obligations, GDPR compliance, export controls, and anti-bribery/anti-corruption initiatives.

• Identify and evaluate legal risks while offering practical solutions.

• Oversee external legal counsel in disputes and specialized legal matters.

• Work in partnership with senior executives throughout the organization as a strategic legal advisor.

• Create internal processes and templates to enhance efficiency and promote compliance awareness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree.

• Eligibility to practice law in at least one EU jurisdiction.

• Over 10 years of legal experience, including training at a distinguished international law firm and in-house counsel experience within a multinational corporation.

• Proficient in English with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Proven track record in advising on commercial transactions, international contracting, and cross-border legal matters.

• Capacity to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across jurisdictions and functions.

• Preferred: Proficiency in German and experience in negotiating agreements under German law.

• Preferred: Background in technology, telecommunications, or innovation-focused sectors with significant expertise in intellectual property.
