Senior Legal Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Prepare, analyze, and oversee the full lifecycle of commercial contracts and legal documents — ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and internal policies within Kata.ai's SaaS and enterprise AI divisions — to facilitate seamless commercial operations, minimize legal risks, and enable the company to confidently expand its client relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in commercial law, emphasizing contract drafting, review, and negotiation.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing SaaS, technology, or digital platform commercial agreements — a solid understanding of subscription models, SLAs, data processing agreements, and intellectual property clauses is crucial.

• Experience providing guidance on Indonesian regulatory compliance across various legal entities.

• Previous involvement in investment-related legal operations or corporate secretarial coordination is advantageous.

• Background in or collaboration with a technology company, startup, or SaaS business is highly desirable.

• Ability to operate in a contract/freelance capacity with a skillful approach to managing workload independently and adaptively.

• Bachelor's degree in Law (S.H.) from a recognized institution; a Master's degree is an added advantage.

• Possession of an advocate license (PERADI) is beneficial.

• Knowledge of the Indonesian SaaS, technology, or digital economy legal framework is strongly preferred.

• Professional proficiency in legal drafting in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
