β’ Identify significant opportunities for developing AI applications that improve math teaching and learning.
β’ Create custom math applications on Playlab in collaboration with partner organizations.
β’ Collaborate with math educators through hands-on coaching and design sprints.
β’ Set the standard for math AI tools throughout the platform.
β’ Mentor Learning Engineers on projects related to mathematics.
β’ Conduct high-trust coaching through various support strategies.
β’ Explore the limits of what can be achieved in math applications.
β’ Assist in initiatives focused on building student-oriented math resources.
β’ Provide field insights to Playlab's product and engineering teams.
β’ Possess over 5 years of experience in K-12 math classroom or instructional leadership.
β’ Have a profound respect for the challenges of math teaching.
β’ Exhibit a deep understanding of math teaching and learning processes.
β’ Demonstrate experience in coaching and supporting math educators.
β’ Have experience in utilizing, analyzing, and creating AI tools.
β’ Hold a strong emerging perspective on the limitations of current tools and the challenges of utilizing AI.
β’ Understand the distinction between AI that generates confidently incorrect answers and AI that facilitates genuine mathematical thinking.
β’ Have experience mentoring or coaching math educators or instructional coaches.
