Senior Learning Design Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Analyze and structure content, design educational solutions, and produce storyboards, scripts, performance support materials, mobile learning, and manuals.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to evaluate learning requirements and contribute to course content development.

• Develop learning objectives and manage performance assessments to gauge training effectiveness.

• Ensure that course materials are up-to-date and aligned with training necessities.

• Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness through learner satisfaction, proficiency testing, and improvements in job performance.

• Offer instruction and support to facilitators.

• Leverage social media and collaborative tools to enhance learning experiences.

• Design and refine training curriculum, materials, and job aids.

• Conduct needs assessments with clients to identify the relevance and necessity of learning solutions.

• Influence departmental strategy and make decisions regarding technical approaches for project components.

• Independently determine goals and strategies for assignments.

• Participate in projects and meetings which may require occasional travel to Humana offices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in learning design with a focus on adult learners.

• At least 2 years in a customer-facing role demonstrating a customer-oriented approach.

• Proficiency in Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise.

• Familiarity with eLearning strategies and adult learning theories.

• Experience in contributing to the ongoing improvement of member and customer experiences.

• Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, or similar tools.

• A minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
