This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead comprehensive searches for Director, Senior Director, VP, and executive-level talent across various functions.
• Create and implement proactive talent strategies to discover and attract premier leadership candidates from competitive markets.
• Establish deep pipelines of passive talent while nurturing long-term relationships with high-potential leaders.
• Provide exceptional candidate experiences while accurately representing the company's mission, culture, and growth opportunities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executives, hiring managers, and business leaders.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of Zipline's strategy, operating model, and leadership requirements.
• Influence hiring decisions using data, market intelligence, organizational insights, and talent evaluations.
• Assist leaders in defining hiring profiles that align with current business needs and future organizational growth.
• Conduct proactive market mapping and benchmarking to stay ahead of talent trends in critical functional areas.
• Assess candidates for leadership potential, organizational impact, strategic thinking, execution excellence, and cultural contribution.
• Perform thorough evaluations that extend beyond experience to identify leaders capable of scaling teams, navigating complexities, and achieving results.
• Develop structured interview processes and assessment frameworks that enhance hiring quality and minimize bias.
• Execute talent mapping and market analysis to guide organizational planning and hiring priorities.
• Collaborate on succession planning and the long-term development of leadership capabilities.
• Promote continuous improvement in leadership recruiting practices and processes.
• Elevate the standards for how Zipline attracts, evaluates, and hires leaders.
• 8+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience, including substantial experience in hiring Director-level and higher leadership talent.
• Proven success in recruiting senior leaders within hyper-growth, high-growth, or transformational organizations.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership teams and senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead intricate leadership searches from strategy development to closure.
• Proficiency in executive sourcing, talent mapping, candidate assessment, and managing executive-level candidates.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
