
Senior, Lead Transmission Line Engineers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Collaborate as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
• Tackle complex challenges related to electric transmission
• Act as Engineers on electric transmission line design initiatives
• Implement NESC, ASCE, ACI, and various other standards in engineering and design
• Conduct engineering analyses, create bidding documents, and draft plans and specifications
• Prepare documents for material procurement and construction
• Engage with a multi-person Leidos team and clients
• Participate in project planning, environmental considerations, permitting, and construction management
• Potential for client office work and occasional travel (up to 10-15%)
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering
• 4+ years of relevant experience for Mid-Senior Level positions
• 8+ years of relevant experience for Lead Level roles
• 2+ years of proven leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience
• Experience in reviewing comprehensive transmission line designs, including PLS-CADD models
• Familiarity with NESC, ACI, AISC, and ASCE code requirements
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams
• Expert proficiency in PLS-CADD
• Experience with foundation analysis software such as LPILE or FAD Tools
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
