Senior Lead Software Engineer, Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of intricate, cross-system software solutions from architecture through to production and continuous support.

• Design and deliver AI-driven and agentic solutions, which encompass automation based on LLMs, retrieval mechanisms, and workflow orchestration.

• Establish technical benchmarks for architectural patterns, code quality, testing protocols, CI/CD processes, and documentation standards.

• Collaborate with functional and product owners to transform business challenges into sustainable solutions.

• Ensure that builds adhere to standards concerning data integrity, enterprise architecture, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

• Engage hands-on across the entire stack, merging problem-solving capabilities, architectural insight, and stakeholder engagement.

• Contribute to the development of the internal engineering function, influencing practices, architecture, and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in building and deploying production software.

• Extensive hands-on engineering experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Next.js, Python, or similar languages.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Experience in designing and integrating various systems and APIs.

• Familiarity with deploying applications on cloud platforms like Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS.

• Background in creating AI or agentic solutions in a production setting.

• Experience in working with LLMs through APIs, including prompt design, tool/function invocation, and managing trade-offs related to cost, latency, and reliability.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.

• Strong foundations in software engineering principles, covering version control, CI/CD, testing, and secure development methodologies.

• Ability to navigate and operate within a complex, matrixed, and governed environment.

• Excellent communication skills to convey clear technical guidance and practical execution strategies.

• Preferred experience in PE-backed environments or professional services.
