Senior / Lead Full Stack Engineer, Next.js, AI, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop comprehensive full-stack applications utilizing Next.js, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.

• Create and sustain APIs, authentication processes, and backend services.

• Collaborate with PostgreSQL, Supabase, and Redis to construct scalable data architectures.

• Deploy and oversee applications on Vercel, including the management of environments and workflows.

• Incorporate AI/LLM capabilities (OpenAI, Anthropic) into product functionalities.

• Enhance performance, reliability, and user experience throughout the technology stack.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and error tracking solutions (e.g., Sentry).

• Engage in product strategy discussions and convert concepts into functional systems.

• Assume responsibility for technical choices and lead projects from ideation to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in full-stack software engineering.

• Strong proficiency in Next.js (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions).

• Advanced skills in TypeScript with comprehensive type safety.

• Proven experience in developing production-ready APIs (authentication, validation, error handling, rate limiting).

• Significant expertise in PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, optimization).

• Practical experience with Supabase (Auth, Realtime, Storage, etc.).

• Familiarity with Drizzle ORM or similar tools for schema management and migrations.

• Knowledge of Redis (Upstash or similar) for caching and improving performance.

• Solid experience in deploying and managing applications on Vercel.

• Experience with integrating AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar).

• Understanding of prompt engineering, streaming, structured outputs, and cost management.

• Experience utilizing AI coding tools (Claude, Codex, or similar) in everyday workflows.
