Senior Key Account Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for achieving or surpassing a specified operational plan.

• Formulate and implement a commercial strategy for the sales of stability solutions targeting data centers, including Hyperscalers and prospective Power Providers in the North American market. This encompasses Power Electronics Stability Systems (MV UPS, Statcom, Solid State Transformers, etc.), Energy Storage, Distribution Systems, and EMS applications.

• Establish connections with Hyperscalers and facilitate collaboration within the GEV organization to structure growth and strategic initiatives.

• Ensure accurate forecasting of orders and convertible orders for your assigned account portfolio, and document this in Salesforce.com.

• Oversee daily relationship management and offer transactional support.

• Collaborate with selected sales personnel from GE Vernova businesses across the region to execute joint account strategies and finalize synergy orders.

• Formulate and implement an overarching growth strategy with integrated initiatives for GE throughout the region.

• Build strategic relationships with key decision-makers in support of the sales team's strategic goals, including power developers, Data Center Developers, Independent Power Producers, and co-locators.

• Propel the identification, prospecting, and development of new sales opportunities.

• Assist your customers in sales activities and support them in discovering new opportunities.

• Coordinate efforts and provide leadership to establish tailored sales strategies, obtaining the necessary approvals for pricing and delivery.

• Negotiate contracts as necessary.

• Stay informed about market trends, competitive actions, product demands, and the customer base.

• Collaborate with Marketing to devise project-specific sales strategies for assigned customers.

• Provide feedback to the leadership team to promote ongoing growth.

• Manage expenses within the designated budget.

• Oversee accounts in the region; responsible for nurturing relationships at all organizational levels, developing and tracking growth plans, marketing initiatives, and training.

• Manage, sustain, and expand accounts in the region to meet quarterly and annual targets.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, a technical discipline, or a related field from an accredited university or college.

• At least 6 years of pertinent experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, or Technical Engineering, with connections on the commercial side.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Developer and Utilities Markets.

• Familiarity with Data Center Markets and Portfolios.

• Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Willingness to travel within North America 30% - 50% of the time.
