This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take responsibility for achieving or surpassing a defined operational plan.
• Formulate and implement a commercial strategy for the sales of stability solutions tailored for data centers, engaging with Hyperscalers and prospective Power Providers in the North American market, including Power Electronics Stability Systems (MV UPS, Statcom, Solid State Transformers, etc.), Energy Storage, Distribution Systems, and EMS applications.
• Establish connections with Hyperscalers and create links within the GEV organization to develop growth and strategic plans.
• Oversee precise forecasting of orders and convertible orders for your assigned account portfolio and update Salesforce.com accordingly.
• Manage day-to-day relationships and provide transactional support.
• Collaborate with selected GE Vernova business sales personnel throughout the region to implement joint account strategies and secure synergy orders.
• Formulate and execute a comprehensive growth strategy with integrated approaches for GE across the region.
• Build strategic customer relationships with key decision-makers to support the sales team’s strategic direction, including power developers, Data Center Developers, Independent Power Producers, and co-locators.
• Lead the identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
• Assist customers in sales activities and help them identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate efforts and provide leadership to establish individual sales strategies, securing appropriate approvals for pricing and delivery.
• Negotiate contracts as necessary.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitive actions, product requirements, and customer demographics.
• Collaborate with Marketing to craft project-specific sales strategies for assigned customers.
• Offer feedback to the leadership team to foster ongoing growth.
• Manage expenses within the allocated budget.
• Own the accounts in the region; responsible for nurturing relationships at all organizational levels, developing and monitoring growth plans, marketing programs, and training.
• Manage, maintain, and expand accounts in the region to meet quarterly and annual quotas.
• Ensure that GE-provided leads are followed up on and converted into orders.
• Uphold global compliance standards; work with the compliance manager to carry out due diligence activities.
• Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and hit-rate data to business and sales leadership.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, a technical discipline, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, or Technical Engineering with a focus on the Commercial side.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Developer and Utilities Markets.
• Familiarity with Data Center Markets and Portfolios.
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Willingness to travel across North America 30% to 50% of the time.
