Senior Java/Kafka Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Contribute to a high-performing backend project within the Banking sector.

• Engage in a rotating on-call shift schedule from Monday through Sunday.

• Remain on standby outside of standard working hours for urgent system incidents.

• Log in and address incidents as they occur.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a comparable role.

• Proficient in J2EE, Springboot, and Apache Kafka is essential.

• Familiarity with Microservices architecture, Spring Boot, Functional Programming, Java (Version 8 and above), JPA, and Testing methodologies (TDD or BDD).

• Knowledge of Software Design and Architecture patterns.

• Experience with Databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.

• Understanding or practical experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum).

• Proficiency in English: Minimum B2 level.
