Senior Java/Kafka Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Paraguay.

📋 Description

• We are seeking a Senior Developer to become a part of our team and make significant contributions to a high-performing backend project within the Banking Industry.

• Engage in a rotating on-call shift schedule that runs from Monday to Sunday.

• Be prepared to be on standby outside of regular working hours, ensuring you are reachable and available to log in to address critical system incidents as they occur.

• The expected rotation frequency is approximately one full week (7 consecutive days) every 3 to 4 months, based on the internal calendar of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a comparable role.

• Proficiency in J2EE, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka is essential.

• Familiarity with Microservices architecture, Spring Boot, Functional Programming, Java (Version 8 and above), JPA, and Testing methodologies (TDD or BDD).

• Knowledge of Software Design and Architecture patterns.

• Experience with Databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.

• Understanding or hands-on experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum).

• Proficiency in the English language: Minimum B2 level.
