Senior Java Software Architekt

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Development of an architectural vision based on microservices architecture and domain-driven design.

• Assessment and enhancement of system architectures regarding scalability, maintainability, and security.

• Design of user-centered interfaces utilizing various web technologies and frameworks.

• Optimization of resource utilization and infrastructure through virtualization.

• Simplification and enhancement of development processes via containerization.

• Structured and traceable documentation using architectural tools.

• Continuous improvement of workflows in an agile environment.

• Establishment of a technological foundation for current requirements and future innovations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on expertise in microservices architecture.

• Clear understanding of domain-driven design.

• Experience in an agile work environment with a broad technology spectrum.

• Proficiency in Java 11+, Spring, and Spring Boot.

• Strong knowledge of additional web technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Familiarity with corresponding frameworks like Vue.js, Angular, and React.

• Experience with shell programming and bash scripting.

• Background in virtualization, e.g., vSphere.

• Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of architectural tool principles, such as arc42 and UML.

• Knowledge of hexagonal architecture and Kotlin is a plus.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, OpenID Connect, OAuth, Keycloak IDM, Git, ArchiMate, PlantUML, and Asciidoc is advantageous.
