Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement applications and microservices utilizing Java 17 or newer, ensuring quality, performance, security, and scalability.

• Create microservices with Spring or Quarkus, adhering to development best practices.

• Engage in alignment meetings with clients and the team to gather requirements and outline solutions.

• Develop and integrate services using AWS resources, particularly API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and networking services.

• Create and implement messaging solutions with Kafka, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

• Participate in the modeling and development of both relational and non-relational databases.

• Conduct unit and integration testing.

• Document developed code, features, standards, and usage instructions.

• Handle end-to-end solution development, from modeling and development to production deployment, monitoring, and solution evolution.

• Contribute to DevOps practices, automation, and continuous integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level professional.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Java 17 or newer.

• Experience in developing microservices using Spring or Quarkus.

• Strong knowledge of Git, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.

• Experience with Kafka, including the design, development, and implementation of messaging services.

• Understanding of standards and practices for maintaining data integrity.

• Solid knowledge of relational database modeling and development, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with non-relational databases such as DynamoDB and Keyspaces.

• Proven experience with AWS services like API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and networking solutions.

• Knowledge of DevOps/GitOps practices, including Git, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.

• Experience in developing applications with an emphasis on scalability, availability, and performance.

• Knowledge of Python and PySpark is a plus.
