Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the architectural solutions for enterprise applications.

• Oversee technical design efforts and assist with implementation across distributed teams.

• Play a key role in the modernization and advancement of intricate legacy systems.

• Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and perform at a high level.

• Work closely with developers, architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

• Provide support throughout the complete software development lifecycle.

• Advocate for engineering best practices and architectural standards across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in enterprise software development and solution architecture.

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11/17, Java EE / Jakarta EE).

• Expertise in database design and development, specifically with PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with Eclipse RCP, SWT, and JFace.

• Practical experience with WildFly Application Server.

• A solid grasp of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and design patterns.

• Experience in leading the modernization of legacy systems and supporting long-term technology roadmaps.

• Familiarity with JPA/Hibernate, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Maven, and Azure DevOps is a plus.
