Senior Java Developer, AI/ML Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mali.

📋 Description

• Create and build enterprise-level applications utilizing Java technologies.

• Design, train, assess, and implement AI and ML solutions.

• Embed AI functionalities into current business applications and workflows.

• Develop and sustain APIs along with integration services.

• Engage in technical analysis, software architecture design, and code evaluations.

• Contribute to initiatives focused on digital transformation within public sector entities.

• Ensure the quality, performance, scalability, and security of the solutions developed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent university degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Systems, Machine Learning, Data Science, or an equivalent qualification at EQF Level 7 / MECES Level 3.

• At least 5 years of experience in software development using Java technologies.

• Demonstrated expertise in the design, development, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence with LLM and generative AI.

• Experience working on projects for public sector organizations and government administrations.

• Background in digital transformation initiatives, enterprise application development, or technology modernization projects.

• Development of agentic systems.

• Experience with Robotic Process Automation.

• Proficiency in Java 8, 11, or newer versions.

• Familiarity with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.

• Knowledge of JPA, Hibernate, and persistence frameworks.

• Proficient in Maven and Git.

• Experience with relational databases, including Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.

• Advanced SQL skills and expertise in query optimization.

• Integration of AI components into enterprise applications.

• Experience in deploying and managing AI-powered solutions in production environments.

• Native Spanish speaker.

• Conversational proficiency in English.
