Senior Java Backend, DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of backend services from architecture to implementation, infrastructure, deployment, production, and scaling.

• Design and manage high-throughput, low-latency Java services (JDK 17+) utilizing AWS, K8s, and Terraform.

• Develop robust distributed components and optimize memory usage, concurrency, and garbage collection.

• Oversee CI/CD processes, system observability, and on-call responsibilities for delivered systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in backend Java development.

• Knowledge of distributed systems, concurrency management, garbage collection tuning, and SQL optimization.

• Strong expertise in AWS and cloud-native technologies (K8s, Docker, Terraform).

• Proficient in English communication.

• A valid German visa is required for remote positions in Germany.
