Senior Java Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create and execute backend services for telecom network management solutions.

• Design and enhance TMF-compliant APIs, including TMF‑633 and TMF‑639.

• Implement resource inventory and service catalog exposure for external systems.

• Work with intricate network and OSS data models, encompassing slicing, network resources, and configuration data.

• Develop microservices utilizing Java 21 and Quarkus.

• Integrate services with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.

• Support audit and optimization scenarios, such as slicing audits and discrepancy detection.

• Maintain code quality through unit testing, CI pipelines, and SonarQube.

• Collaborate within cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence.

• Communicate effectively in English with product owners, architects, and project leads.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Java backend development.

• Extensive experience with REST APIs and service-oriented architectures.

• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.

• Proficient in modern Java frameworks (Quarkus, Spring Boot, or similar).

• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and code quality assessment tools.

• Able to work with existing product codebases, not solely greenfield projects.

• Fluent in English (both written and verbal).

• Background in telecommunications or network management is a plus.

• Experience with TM Forum APIs (TMF‑633, TMF‑639, or similar) is advantageous.

• Understanding of OSS / BSS systems is beneficial.

• Knowledge of 3GPP / 5G network concepts (slicing, NRM, gNBs, etc.) is a plus.

• Experience with network or radio-related data models is advantageous.

• Kubernetes / cloud-native experience beyond basic usage is preferable.
