Senior Java Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain back-end applications utilizing Java.

• Design and implement REST APIs along with integrations between various systems.

• Actively engage in architectural decisions and the establishment of technical standards.

• Ensure code quality by implementing automated testing and conducting code reviews.

• Contribute to the design and evolution of event-driven and microservices architectures.

• Assist multidisciplinary teams in addressing complex software challenges.

• Continuously monitor and enhance application performance.

• Provide support and create solutions in Cloud Native environments.

• Define best practices, offer technical guidance to the team, and contribute to the architecture of distributed applications on AWS.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience in development with Java 11 or higher.

• Advanced understanding of Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.

• Strong background in microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

• Practical experience in modeling and working with both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.

• Experience in orchestrating containers using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.

• Experience in creating and maintaining automated tests with JUnit and Mockito.
