Senior IT Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Act as a primary escalation point for intricate IT support challenges, ensuring prompt resolution via email, phone, or Slack.

• Oversee and sustain Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Intune, and associated cloud services.

• Lead or engage in IT initiatives, including the implementation of new software, system upgrades, and enhancements to infrastructure.

• Develop and implement device management policies and endpoint configurations using Intune and other tools.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to test, document, and deploy system updates and patches while minimizing business disruption.

• Manage and improve identity management, endpoint security, and other IT systems in accordance with industry best practices.

• Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring consistent configuration and access management.

• Monitor system performance and proactively seek opportunities for enhancements in performance, automation, and reliability.

• Update and enhance documentation, IT procedures, and knowledge base articles.

• Occasionally provide support outside of regular hours for critical incidents or maintenance activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical discipline.

• Established expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD, Intune, and Exchange Online.

• Proficient in PowerShell and automation scripting for managing systems and automating tasks.

• Strong familiarity with Windows 10/11, MacOS, and associated device management practices.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, VPN) and processes related to patch management.

• Practical experience with IT ticketing systems, change management, and incident resolution.

• Proven track record of executing or supporting IT infrastructure projects (e.g., migrations, integrations, security improvements).

• Exceptional problem-solving, documentation, and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, coupled with a proactive, solution-focused approach.

• Experience with endpoint security, conditional access policies, or Zero Trust frameworks.

• Familiarity with automation platforms or configuration management tools.

• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, AZ-104, or equivalent are advantageous.

• Must possess the ability to understand job responsibilities, have the requisite skills and knowledge, and be committed to ongoing learning and professional growth in the field.
