• Design, architect, and sustain enterprise infrastructure across hybrid cloud, on-premises, and SaaS environments to guarantee scalability, security, and high availability for a rapidly expanding cybersecurity organization.
• Act as a senior technical leader and subject matter expert in systems architecture, identity management, endpoint management, collaboration platforms, and enterprise services.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Information Technology to guide the IT Operations team, drive strategic projects, and ensure alignment between infrastructure capabilities and business goals.
• Create and manage multi-cloud infrastructure environments, including identity integrations, compute workloads, and platform services.
• Lead the architecture and lifecycle management for enterprise productivity and collaboration platforms, ensuring secure configurations, policy enforcement, and operational reliability.
• Develop and sustain identity and access management architecture, encompassing directory services, federation, authentication flows, and enterprise access controls.
• Design, deploy, and oversee endpoint infrastructure for corporate workstations and laptops across various operating systems, ensuring a robust security posture and user productivity.
• Manage secure infrastructure for internal systems and services, including virtualized workloads, internal application hosting, and enterprise service platforms.
• Drive the architecture of secure email and messaging platforms, focusing on authentication, reputation protection, and anti-abuse measures.
• Design and maintain enterprise networking and secure remote access infrastructure, supporting distributed employees and global operations.
• Implement and sustain centralized logging, monitoring, and observability platforms to enhance operational visibility, troubleshooting, and security investigations.
• Lead initiatives in vulnerability management, including patching strategies, remediation processes, and risk mitigation across infrastructure, endpoints, and applications.
• Collaborate with security engineering teams to ensure infrastructure adheres to security best practices, compliance standards, and threat mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency, security posture, and developer productivity, ensuring the company remains aligned with modern best-of-breed solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to systems engineers and IT operations personnel while also being an active hands-on contributor.
• 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a senior systems administration position.
• Hands-on expertise in managing Windows Server and Linux in enterprise production settings.
• Strong background in hybrid cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS.
• Understanding of ITIL-based ITSM practices (Change & Incident Management) and alignment with core values (curiosity, improvement, empathy, transparency).
• Core infrastructure knowledge: Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and Linux (Debian-based, CLI).
• Familiarity with cloud and workplace platforms: AWS, Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), Intune, and Defender.
• Proficiency in automation and operations: PowerShell/Bash/Python scripting, ITSM tools (Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira), backups, and SIEM/monitoring.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Effective communicator capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, security-sensitive environments.
• Collaborative team player experienced in cross-functional work across IT and business units.
