This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Supervise and uphold the integrity of Sage Intacct and other finance-related systems, ensuring reliability, data accuracy, and adherence to compliance standards.
• Manage and enhance the comprehensive data flow between Salesforce and Sage Intacct, specifically overseeing the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of DataBlend middleware.
• Act as the technical authority for essential finance tools such as AvaTax, expense management platforms, and any associated financial integrations.
• Work collaboratively with Finance, Sales Operations, and Data teams to refine system workflows and automate manual tasks.
• Strategically plan and implement system modifications, testing, and releases in accordance with established governance and change control protocols.
• Offer subject matter expertise and user assistance to Finance and other business units, facilitating effective adoption and comprehension of finance systems.
• Collaborate closely with Finance & Information Systems leadership to ensure that finance system configurations are in alignment with broader enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
• Assist in internal and external audit activities, ensuring system access, data management, and configurations comply with company policies and financial controls.
• Keep abreast of platform updates and best practices, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• A minimum of 5+ years in system administration or integration roles, with at least 3 years of direct experience with finance systems.
• Practical experience in configuring and supporting finance systems, including integrations and familiarity with data structures. Eagerness and capability to learn Sage Intacct.
• Demonstrated experience in managing system integrations — preferably using DataBlend or similar middleware/ETL tools — between CRM and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Salesforce data objects and their integration with financial systems.
• Strong understanding of fundamental financial processes (billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, expenses, and tax).
• Ability to diagnose issues in data flows, APIs, and automation workflows across various systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, particularly when engaging with Finance and Technical teams.
