Senior IT Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of our centralized identity and access management platform.

• Set up and oversee our endpoint detection and response (EDR) solution across the entire fleet.

• Establish and manage our mobile device management (MDM) solution while enforcing secure baseline configurations.

• Oversee secure configuration and governance for our SaaS application fleet.

• Collaborate with operations to ensure security is woven throughout the entire lifecycle of a global endpoint fleet, from procurement and dropshipping to provisioning, patching, and retirement.

• Implement access control systems and internal data security practices across the organization in accordance with the security standards defined by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

• Manage vulnerability management solutions, including scanning, triage, and tracking of remediation efforts.

• Audit and secure the configuration of modern enterprise tech stacks such as GitHub, AWS, and GCP according to established security policies.

• Carry out backup testing processes and engage in incident response activities.

• Maintain and enhance compliance with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in infrastructure and enterprise security, encompassing security governance, access control systems, and vulnerability management.

• Practical experience in deploying and managing single sign-on solutions, EDR, and MDM tools.

• Proven track record in securing and managing a SaaS application fleet on an organization-wide scale.

• Experience in managing a global fleet of endpoints through its complete lifecycle.

• Expertise in secure configuration of modern enterprise tech stacks like GitHub, AWS, and GCP.

• Proficient in scripting (Python, Go, or Bash) to automate security workflows, collect evidence, and integrate across identity, endpoint, and SaaS stacks.

• Background in developing backup processes and leading incident response initiatives.

• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar standards.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously across different time zones.
