This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +1 more state.
• Lead 3–5 low- to medium-risk, cross-functional IT finance projects from initiation to completion.
• Formulate project teams, create work plans, and oversee expectations, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Oversee project scope, costs, timelines, staffing, vendors, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor milestones and modify project plans or resources to uphold customer commitments.
• Communicate project status, risks, financial implications, and dependencies to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and ROI analysis.
• Identify, address, and mitigate project issues and risks; develop contingency strategies.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment while nurturing relationships with internal clients, vendors, and senior management.
• Coordinate team activities, offer performance feedback, and ensure milestones are met.
• Assist with information requests, vendor RFP processes, training materials, operational tasks, reports, and databases.
• Monitor metrics, compile lessons learned, and promote process enhancement.
• Provide advice to Portfolio/Program Managers and support senior project managers on larger projects and programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is preferred.
• Over 5 years of project management experience.
• More than 8 years of relevant IT or business experience.
• At least 5 years of experience applying project life cycle methodologies.
• Strong analytical capabilities for budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis of finance technology investments.
• Experience in influencing and managing project teams without formal direct reporting relationships.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with intricate interdependencies.
• Comprehensive understanding of finance processes, systems, and regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with integrations between finance systems and enterprise platforms.
• Capacity to build consensus and foster alignment among finance, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Expert skills in vendor management.
• Outstanding communication skills for reporting project status, risks, and financial impacts to executive leadership.
• Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional finance technology projects from start to finish.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Financials and Procurement, SAP, Workday, or other finance technologies.
• Expertise in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks in finance technology implementations.
• Experience managing change in regulated environments such as SOX and GDPR.
• Ability to create and implement contingency plans for critical finance systems.
• Experience in gathering lessons learned and driving process improvement.
• Home office setup that supports stationary, on-camera work for 90% of the workday, including an HD webcam, hardwired high-speed internet, and a stationary workstation.
