This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and sustain integrations among internal platforms, SaaS applications, identity systems, HRIS, communication tools, and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware solutions.
• Act as the organization's authority on API-based connectivity, responsible for the integration architecture while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security at all integration points.
• Administer and enhance core IT systems including Microsoft 365 (Azure AD/Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune), Okta or similar SSO/IdP platforms, AWS, and other enterprise applications.
• Create and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines to minimize manual tasks, enhance consistency, and facilitate real-time data sharing across business units.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to guarantee that integrations comply with security best practices.
• Monitor integration performance, proactively resolve failures, and maintain alerting and logging for all critical integration workflows.
• Develop and maintain thorough technical documentation, including integration maps, API inventories, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Mentor junior IT staff by providing technical guidance and sharing best practices in integration design and system administration.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO-27001, PCI-DSS) across all systems and integrations.
• Serve as a point of escalation for intricate cross-system technical issues, taking ownership until resolution.
• Ensure the consistent availability of IT services, with the flexibility to support internal business partners across various time zones.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent Associate’s degree along with relevant certifications.
• Over 6 years of practical experience in IT engineering, particularly focused on systems integration and API development.
• Extensive proficiency with REST APIs, encompassing API design, authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT), JSON/XML data formats, and related tools (e.g., Postman).
• Demonstrated experience in integrating enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., Okta, Workday, Salesforce, Slack, Atlassian, Microsoft 365) with custom and third-party systems.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic skills in scripting or programming languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript/Node.js) for automation and integration tasks.
• Strong system administration experience with Microsoft 365 (Azure AD/Entra, Exchange Online, Intune, SharePoint) and/or other enterprise platforms.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, capable of diagnosing complex cross-system issues independently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to document technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A robust sense of ownership and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
