Senior IT Engineer – MSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sri Lanka.

📋 Description

• Demonstrate consistent reliability, proactivity, and a solution-focused approach.

• Serve as a technical escalation point for intricate infrastructure challenges.

• Provide expert support across various systems, servers, networks, and cloud environments.

• Maintain and enhance internal documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.

• Conduct thorough analysis of issues to determine root causes rather than merely addressing symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to guide them through technical resolutions.

• Mentor and assist junior engineers by sharing knowledge and expertise.

• Identify recurring problems and contribute to sustainable solutions and improvements.

• Participate in on-call or after-hours escalation rotations as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a Senior IT Engineer role or a similar position (preferably within MSP or enterprise settings).

• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

• Exceptional communication skills, both in writing and verbally.

• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.

• Solid experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).

• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or equivalent.

• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Azure, CCNA, or similar) are advantageous.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, support, or engineering roles.
