Senior IT Engineer, Field Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of enterprise applications that support field operations.

• Work closely with business stakeholders, field service teams, development groups, and technical teams to collect requirements, design scalable solutions, and lead significant system enhancement projects from initial concept to successful deployment.

• Serve as the main technical leader for cross-platform integration efforts, ensuring smooth data flow, API connectivity, and communication among various field service and network management tools.

• Deliver senior-level support and technical guidance, managing system upgrades, vendor partnerships, and intricate troubleshooting, while also documenting system architectures, creating FAQs, and developing resources for knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in IT systems engineering, with a strong emphasis on enterprise application management, integrations, and architecture.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and executing complex IT projects from start to finish within the telecommunications or field service industries.

• Proficient in configuring, administering, and integrating specific operational platforms such as geospatial tools (e.g., IQGeo), network testing/monitoring (e.g., VeEX), telematics (e.g., Geotab), or WFM systems.
