This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Manage help-desk requests, including password resets, access provisioning, and troubleshooting for Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom.
• Acquire, provision, configure, and dispatch laptops; oversee off-boarding wipes and returns; and maintain an asset inventory.
• Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding, encompassing account creation, security profiles, welcome communications, and ensuring day-one preparedness.
• Administer Google Workspace users, groups, aliases, and licenses utilizing the admin console and CLI tools.
• Ensure endpoint compliance and follow up on devices that do not adhere to security policies.
• Implement and enforce endpoint security configurations, access controls, and compliance requirements.
• Manage corporate software licenses, renewals, license optimization, and access reviews.
• Provide support for office networking, conference room setups, AV, and technology across various physical locations as needed.
• Offer technical guidance and training through written guides, walkthroughs, and screen sharing.
• Maintain runbooks, knowledge-base articles, and process documentation.
• Participate in SOC2 evidence collection, device trust, security policy rollout, cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow automation.
• Lead IT projects related to endpoint management, security enhancements, and internal tooling over time.
• Report to the Head of IT/Security and act as the primary point of contact for employee IT inquiries.
• Previous IT support experience, such as help-desk or internal support roles.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting macOS system issues, managing profiles, and utilizing the terminal.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace administration or a strong willingness to learn it swiftly.
• Basic understanding of DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN principles, and network traffic.
• Fundamental knowledge of endpoint security, encryption, and access controls.
• Excellent written communication skills for effective coordination in Slack and Notion.
• Capability to work independently across different time zones.
• A keen interest in systems, automation, scripting, homelabs, or similar practical projects.
• Nice to have: experience with MDM platforms.
• Nice to have: familiarity with AWS, GCP, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Nice to have: scripting experience in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Nice to have: knowledge of zero-trust networking concepts.
• Nice to have: experience with SOC2 or ISO 27001 compliance.
• Nice to have: exposure to GDPR and other international IT regulations and data privacy standards.
• Ability to work during UK/EMEA business hours.
• Salary range of £65K–£90K.
