Senior IT Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee and maintain both in-house developed web systems and third-party market systems, ensuring their availability, stability, and performance.

• Serve as the main technical support contact for users, handling triage, diagnosis, and resolution of mid-level incidents.

• Gather functional and technical requirements from business areas, map out processes, and recommend enhancements and technological solutions.

• Manage the IT request lifecycle from the functional specification to acceptance testing and deployment of solutions.

• Collaborate with technology vendors and partners to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and quality of delivery.

• Conduct technical and functional feasibility assessments for new requests and projects.

• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of technical and functional documentation, as well as supporting communication and training for system and feature adoption.

• Work together with development, infrastructure, security, and data teams to ensure compliance with best practices and information security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.

• A postgraduate degree in Software Engineering or related fields is preferred.

• Proficiency in Python programming, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Familiarity with web frameworks for APIs and applications such as Django, FastAPI, and Flask.

• Experience with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) as well as NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of data processing and automation using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including the use of Git/GitHub and containerization with Docker.

• Experience in participating in requirements analysis, collaborating with consulting firms on projects, validating automations, ETL processes, and data and artificial intelligence initiatives.

• Proficient in software quality assurance through unit and integration testing.
