Senior IT Asset Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and enhance technical solutions that facilitate IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) functionalities.

• Collaborate closely with the Service Asset and Configuration Manager to develop scalable asset data solutions, automate integrations, and enhance the accuracy, reliability, and governance of asset and configuration data within ServiceNow.

• Spearhead the execution of solutions that improve asset lifecycle management, strengthen platform integrations, and increase operational efficiency across the organization.

• Provide dependable asset management data and solutions to support Oportun's mission of fostering a better financial future through responsible technology management and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in technology, particularly focusing on IT Asset Management, Configuration Management, or related ITAM toolsets.

• More than 3 years of experience in developing and supporting ServiceNow Asset Management, Software Asset Management, CMDB, or IT Operations Management solutions.

• Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Configuration Management, and CMDB best practices.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.
