Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive full-stack applications and services.

• Ensure optimal system performance, security, and scalability.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to create high-quality products.

• Participate in the complete development cycle, which includes technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.

• Review code and design documents, providing constructive feedback on product specifications and mockups.

• Establish and define standards that enhance developer workflows.

• Recommend best practices while mentoring and coaching engineers within the team.

• Commit to continuous learning and improvement of both technical and non-technical skills.

• Develop and enhance Reddit products that support community builders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related discipline.

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience within a scalable computing environment.

• Capability to take complete ownership of projects, from initial design through deployment and maintenance.

• A strong desire for learning and adapting to emerging technologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

• An entrepreneurial mindset; self-motivated, innovative, action-oriented, and comfortable with building new solutions while navigating ambiguity and setbacks.

• Familiarity or experience with Go, Python, Swift, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, BigQuery, Redis, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and Docker.
