Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software for complex mobile applications.

• Maintain quality standards by conducting code reviews, resolving bugs, creating tests, and profiling code.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to peers.

• Design experiments to enhance the understanding of user interactions with our applications.

• Oversee app stability and respond to crashes as they occur.

• Achieve proficiency in our Swift codebase.

• Work collaboratively with a globally distributed team.

• Participate openly in the Mozilla open-source project and engage with the worldwide Mozilla community.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and deploying native iOS/iPadOS mobile applications.

• Proficient coding abilities in Swift.

• Familiarity with web technologies including HTTP, HTML, and JavaScript.

• Capability to quickly learn and navigate a sizable codebase.

• Experience in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.

• A strong enthusiasm for learning and sharing knowledge with others.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
