Senior iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance native iOS experiences on prominent consumer platforms.

• Contribute to the architecture and construction of reusable mobile foundations, frameworks, and platform capabilities.

• Spearhead technical initiatives aimed at enhancing scalability, performance, reliability, and developer experience.

• Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, testing practices, observability, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product direction and technical strategy.

• Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented engineering culture.

• Enhance tooling, workflows, documentation, and shared engineering standards.

• Engage in experimentation and prototyping of new product experiences.

• Balance immediate product requirements with long-term platform sustainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-level experience in developing native iOS applications using Swift.

• Experience with large-scale consumer-facing applications that demand high performance and reliability.

• Strong knowledge of scalable, maintainable mobile architecture and reusable components.

• A keen focus on user experience, accessibility, and performance.

• Proven experience in mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions in cross-functional settings.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Comfortable with navigating ambiguity and making informed technical trade-offs.

• Full professional proficiency in English.

• Located in Sweden and available to start in November 2026.

• Experience with SwiftUI and modular app architecture (Nice to Have).

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Nice to Have).

• Knowledge of mobile CI/CD, testing frameworks, and observability tools (Nice to Have).

• Background in media, streaming, or other high-traffic consumer products (Nice to Have).
