R&D Project Lead – Mobile, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop software products for banking and financial institutions within collaborative, agile R&D teams.

• Assist in defining the product roadmap and facilitate the complete product release process along with stakeholder communication.

• Design, create, test, support, and deploy mobile applications.

• Engage in hands-on development, conduct code reviews, and offer architectural insights.

• Work alongside engineering teams during the design and development phases to deliver high-quality products.

• Create innovative, scalable technical solutions with a thorough understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

• Support product-team governance to ensure the quality and efficiency of solutions.

• Utilize agile methodologies to swiftly provide engineers with effective solutions.

• Enable, empower, and motivate teams towards the continuous enhancement of technology and processes.

• Challenge and support individuals and engineering practices to enhance product quality.

• Mentor team members while reinforcing organizational values and culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Ideally possess knowledge equivalent to 8 to 10 years of experience in native app development and mobile app architecture.

• Hands-on experience delivering solutions utilizing Swift/SwiftUI, iOS SDKs, and Cocoa Touch technologies in global organizations.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as XCTest.

• Strong understanding of architectural patterns, including MVVM, Clean Architecture, and VIPER.

• Knowledge of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.

• Proficiency in security best practices.

• Solid understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and GitLab.

• Familiarity with continuous integration practices.

• Good experience and understanding of working in an agile environment.

• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance optimization.

• Good understanding of DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience in agile development processes including release planning, monitoring burn-down charts, resolving impediments, managing dependencies, and risk planning and mitigation.

• Excellent skills in data structures and algorithms.

• Exposure to digital transformation and digital technologies.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• A self-starter capable of taking initiatives and working with minimal supervision.

• Previous experience in the banking or financing domain is a plus but not mandatory.
