Senior iOS Developer – Swift SDK Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and develop a reusable, modular native iOS SDK in Swift for third-party developers.

• Incorporate existing REST APIs for nutrition, meal planning, and AI functionalities into the SDK layer.

• Establish secure authentication, manage tokens, and synchronize users end to end.

• Construct reusable native UI components and feature flows that can be seamlessly integrated into third-party applications.

• Package, version, and distribute the SDK utilizing Swift Package Manager or XCFrameworks as necessary.

• Integrate and test the SDK within a current production iOS application.

• Address networking, error scenarios, performance issues, and edge cases.

• Produce integration documentation and assist in the testing process leading up to production release.

• Take ownership of the SDK from initial architectural decisions through to release.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Swift iOS development.

• Demonstrated experience in creating iOS SDKs, frameworks, or libraries that have been delivered to external users.

• Proficient in Swift Package Manager, XCFrameworks, and SDK distribution methods.

• Strong background in REST API integration, including authentication and token management processes.

• Practical experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit for building reusable UI components.

• In-depth knowledge of iOS architecture, including modularization, dependency management, and code organization.

• Familiarity with token-based authentication, session management, and iOS Keychain/secure storage.

• Excellent debugging and performance optimization capabilities in real production codebases.

• Ability to work independently while managing deliverables without close supervision.

• Experience in developing or integrating commercial third-party SDKs.

• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWT, and secure token exchange implementations.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Fastlane, or automated SDK release processes.

• Familiarity with camera or image APIs.

• Experience with AI or chat functionality integration on iOS.

• Background in Node.js/Express.

• Experience in health, fitness, or consumer mobile applications.

• Availability to work Philippine business hours, 0700–1600 PHT, Monday to Friday.

• Immediate availability for a contract lasting 3–4 months.
