This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Be a part of a premier technology consultancy as a Senior iOS Developer.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining iOS applications from initial requirements to App Store release.
• Write clean and organized code that utilizes software design patterns and architectural patterns.
• Design seamless visual interactions and implement mobile user experience best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate effectively while also being able to work independently.
• Expertise in Swift: Extensive experience in developing iOS applications using the Swift programming language.
• Mastery of Apple frameworks: Proficient with Cocoa Touch and various other Apple frameworks.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles: Strong understanding of dependency injection, single responsibility principle, and protocol-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in testing: Experience with unit tests, UI testing, and accessibility testing, including the ability to write testable code.
• Full lifecycle experience: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain iOS applications from the initial requirements stage to App Store deployment.
• Familiarity with Functional Reactive Programming: Experience using FRP frameworks such as RxSwift or ReactiveCocoa.
• Experience with MVVM(-C) architecture: Practical knowledge in implementing the Model-View-ViewModel (with Coordinator) pattern.
• Understanding of design patterns: Capable of producing clean code that leverages various software design patterns, architectural patterns, and data structures.
• Agile methodology: Possess an agile mindset with experience in Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Code ownership: Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for code throughout its entire lifecycle—development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Visual interaction skills: Experience in creating smooth visual interactions and applying mobile user experience patterns.
• Craftsmanship: A strong sense of pride in the final product, striving for the best solutions while maintaining high standards.
